Dual Career Officers Seminar in Kraków: A Successful 2nd Edition!

Over 30 participants, three days of discussions, and invaluable insights – our second DCO Seminar in Kraków was a resounding success!

From March 28-30, the Cracow University of Economics became a hub for discussions on the future of athletes and #DualCareer model. The AFTERMATCH 2.0 Reload project brought together representatives from sports organizations across Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Azerbaijan for an intensive three-day workshop. The event focused on the needs of athletes and sports organizations, exploring pathways to successfully combine sports careers with education and professional development.

Insights from Industry Experts

A highlight of the seminar was the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, including:

🔹 Monika Kukla – student, athlete, and bronze medalist at the AMP Football World Cup;
🔹 Krzysztof Lipecki, PhD – member of the Polish Football Association’s Scientific Research Group, former footballer, coach, and academic lecturer;
🔹 Francisco José Cánovas Álvarez – Professor and Sports Tutor at the Faculty of Sports, UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia.

Their expertise and real-life experiences provided invaluable perspectives on navigating the #DualCareer path.
