On August 10, 2025, Modern Youth Public Union hosted a local dissemination event in Baku, Azerbaijan as part of the #AFTERMATCH 2.0 Reload project.
The aim of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of #DualCareer development for athletes and to present the main goals and outcomes of the AFTERMATCH initiative. Participants explored how sport can be a powerful tool for lifelong learning, career planning, and personal development beyond athletic achievements.
The event gathered around 30 participants, including:
- Dual Career Trainers (DCTs)
- Dual Career Officers (DCOs)
- Athletes from various sports organizations
- Coaches from local sports clubs
- NGO representatives
The session sparked valuable discussions, new ideas, and reinforced the need for structured support systems to help athletes combine sport with education and future employment.
Modern Youth Public Union continues to be a key partner in promoting dual career philosophy in the region.
