Another successful edition of the DCO workshops brought together athletes and sports professionals in Lisbon to explore the dual career model and support the future of sports.
From April 14-16, Lisbon hosted the 3rd seminar of the AFTERMATCH 2.0 Reload project, where a new group of athletes and representatives from sports organizations participated in a 3-day training session focused on promoting the #DualCareer model.
Led by Sport Evolution Alliance, the Portuguese DCO team did an outstanding job in delivering engaging and insightful workshops. Participants were trained to analyze both organizational and athlete needs and to design tailored dual career pathways using the model developed within the project.
The seminar highlighted the importance of combining sport with education and personal development, providing tools for Dual Career Officers to support athletes in balancing their professional and academic goals.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Lisbon and contributed to another inspiring and productive event!
Next stop: Baku at the end of May!
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
